IACCP congratulates Klaus Boehnke

IACCP’s former president, Klaus Boehnke, Professor of Social Science Methodology at Constructor University Bremen, Germany, formerly known as Jacobs University, received the Ralph K. White Lifetime Achievement Award from Division 48 (Peace Psychology) of the American Psychological Association at their recent Annual Convention in Seattle. Boehnke was honored for his decades-long activities in the field of peace and conflict research. In his invited address, “Life Trajectories from an Expected Inferno to Real War,” at the APA Convention, he reported on his ongoing 12-wave longitudinal study of peace movement activists and sympathizers, first surveyed in 1985.
