International Interdisciplinary Conference – Advances in Comparative Culturology

I am delighted to invite you to the International Interdisciplinary Conference – Advances in Comparative Culturology, organized by the Department of Sociology and Social Policy at Lingnan University. The event will take place on 15–16 May 2025 on our campus in Hong Kong.

This two-day conference brings together distinguished international and local scholars (check out the website below) to discuss key questions in cultural research, including:

  • How should we conceptualize and measure culture?
  • What drives cultural change—and what patterns does it follow?
  • How is culture as an ecological construct linked to individual psychology?
  • What role does culture play in broader social transformations?

The program features interdisciplinary panels from sociology, psychology, anthropology, business, and public policy, aiming to foster rich academic dialogue.
